I share my home with Leticia, my best friend and partner, who is generally supportive of my homesteading undertakings. In addition I have two cockatiels (FatBoy and Lulu), three catfish and 2 bins of composting worms. Then there are several tenants on the premises, but thus far, none have expressed interest in participating in the yard in any way, but maybe that will change ...
About Me:
I am a general handyman, so much of my time is spent in trying to repair, restore or green up other peoples homes. When I am not working on a client's property, I am either fishing (mostly release, I keep about 4-6 fish a year for food), or I am working on my own home. The property is a 1903 house that was legally converted to a 4-unit apartment house in the 1950's, and then allowed to completely fall apart by previous owners, so it has been an ongoing project to return the building to functional condition, and then gradually start to bring the yard under control!
Interests:
Vintage homes, restoring and rebuilding all things old, fishing, watching the insect life in my yard, seeing new seedlings pop up from the soil, art, sci-fi books, and trying to learn something new every day!
