Just a note, however ... our family runs the Urban Homestead project and we all wear many hats. It's a three ring... no, a three-hundred-and-sixty-five ring circus here on the city farm.  Digging our way towards a more secure food future is a full time job, so if we don't respond right away or have a volunteer respond instead, we hope you can understand.

We won't have time to consult with you personally regarding any aspect of growing your own food or help you with specific problem, sorry. But we will be sharing our family's (and other contributing authors) food-raising knowledge on this website so just look around, we are sure you will find what you are looking for.

We also recommend that you join the FREE community and connect with "neighbors" there!
