“Get-Together” Guidelines
Following are some general guidelines for Freedom Gardens Get-togethers.
In planning, listing, hosting, and/or attending a Get-together on Freedom Gardens, you have implicitly agreed to the all the Get-together guidelines. Any other Get-togethers not registered through Freedom Gardens are prohibited. Any violation of the Get-together guidelines may result in the termination of your Freedom Gardens membership.
FREEDOM GARDENSsm, OUR EARTH, WE DIG IT, and the FREEDOM GARDENS logo are trademarks of Dervaes Institute and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Dervaes Institute. Any use of the name other than to promote Freedom Gardens and its Get-together is prohibited.
By planning, listing, hosting, and/or attending Freedom Gardens Get-together, you further agree to the Freedom Gardens Terms of Service. Freedom Gardens staff will assume members have read said terms and will not take ignorance of any rules as an excuse for not following the rules, policies, and guidelines outlined here.
1. All Freedom Gardens Get-togethers must be listed in the Events section of Freedom Gardens. Freedom Gardens Get-togethers may not be announced in the Forums or via private messages.
2. If you advertise a Freedom Gardens Get-together outside of Freedom Gardens, you must indicate that the meeting is a Freedom Gardens event.
3. The Freedom Gardens Get-together must be free of charge where possible. However a maximum charge of $5 USD (or equivalent local currency) is permissible only when the cost of venue hire has been incurred.
4. Any listed Get-together must not be in competition with any Freedom Gardens Get-together located within reasonable traveling distance. If any Freedom Gardens Get-together grows beyond its capacity, the Freedom Gardens organization, at its discretion, may give permission to divide the groups within the parameters of the designated city or area.
5. Get-together must be free of any advertising or selling of merchandise (including publications) or services. Attendees may not advocate competing organizations’ workshops or events.
6. You must make reference to FreedomGardens.org to any media inquiries or interviews your local Freedom Gardens Get-together receives.
7. No political campaigning or organizing, endorsement of specific candidates or legislation, or petition drives may take place at Freedom Gardens Get-togethers.
8. Freedom Gardens Get-togethers are not to be associated with or linked to any other group, entity, or movement without explicit written permission from the Dervaes Institute.
