Preserving the harvest is especially important for those who have planted Freedom Gardens. By “capturing” the bounty of your garden, you are striving for independence from the corporate food system.
The canning (or other preservation methods) of the harvest from a Freedom Garden, locally-gathered wild fruits, or in season bounty at a local market is one of the more important contributions to a family’s health and economy.
This challenge can be accepted in conjunction with the 100 Foot Diet challenge but can also be a stand-alone challenge.
